2011 Shortlist Announced

The six books, selected from the longlist of 13, are:

Esi Edugyan Half Blood Blues (Serpent’s Tail)

A.D. Miller Snowdrops (Atlantic)


As yet I haven't read the Barnes or Edugyan's novels, and am shocked at the inclusion of "Snowdrops", didn't think "The Sisters Brothers" was a contender even though it was entertaining. Just goes to show, with this prize there is always something to get heated under the collar about....
